Submission Guideline

File formats

  • Illustrator / Photoshop / In Design / Acrobat PDF
  • For all .ai, .pdf or .eps file, please ensure fonts are pathed and outline. If a files is received without fonts that has been pathed and outline, it will be rejected.
  • Do not use any of the Office software or paint software to create your artwork for submission
  • Do not use images downloaded from the internet as there will be a chance that it may not be clear or picture might be pixilated.
  • It is recommended to consult a professional designer to handle the artwork, ensuring the artwork will meet the requirements.

Image formats

  • psd / tiff / jpg
  • Please ensure you link and embed your images. If a file is received without the images link and embedded, the file will be rejected.
  • All file formats must have a minimum resolution of 300dpi

Print Colour

  • All colour artwork and / or images must be provided in CMYK format and not RGB. Computer monitor colours are rendered in RGB mode and all files receive in RGB or other color format will be converted to CYMK for printing without prior notice, and our company shall not be responsible for any color aberration caused by the conversion.

Artwork Bleed

  • Offset printed materials requires a 3 – 5mm bleed
  • Large format printed material do not require an artwork bleed

Crop Marks

  • Prepare your artwork with crop marks to indicate where the paper should be cut to produce the exact size
  • Allow + / - 1.5mm trimming tolerance around your file
  • Be sure to extend the background images or colours to the edge of the bleed zone
  • All critical elements (text, images, logos, etc.) should be kept at least 3mm away from the trim zone

Artwork Fonts

  • Fonts must be embedded, pathed and outlinein the artwork for submission
  • Do note certain fonts may have copyright restrictions and will not embed in PDF files
  • Recommended that fonts are at least 7pt to ensure they print well.

Artwork Proofing

  • Colours reflected in your monitors cannot be used as a colour standard
  • Proof provided by customers cannot be used as a colour standard
  • The final product colour will follow Print Robot colour standard.

We will not be responsible for any misplacement, blurred images, spelling or typo error on customer’s artwork.

We will not be responsible for any artwork and content fill up with overprint (Font and Images) which will not print out in the final product.
